Our dog has always rang the doorbell when she wants to come in. She finally broke the normal doorbell so we bought this doorbell for her. It is still mounted at the height for people. It’s just her doorbell. We enjoy seeing her jump and stand on her hind legs, pushing the doorbell to come in. She has not knocked the cover off as she did on the human Bell and it seems to be holding up to the demands of a dog, putting weight and pressure on it. It is loud enough to be heard and the price is reasonable.
